Mr. Jay Burns is a Principal of Aslan Realty Group and joined the company in early 2007.  Mr. Burns’ responsibilities focus primarily on identifying acquisition opportunities and negotiating transactions.

Prior to joining Aslan Realty Group, Mr. Burns was Senior VP of Acquisitions at Lyon Capital Ventures. During his tenure with Lyon, Mr. Burns was responsible for the acquisition and disposition of over $2.5 billion in multi-family assets in various markets throughout the United States. His experience includes 20 years of acquisitions and dispositions in Northern and Southern California and 5 years of sourcing and managing deals in the Southeast. In the past 24 months alone, Mr. Burns has acquired 9,500 units in Atlanta with an approximate acquisition value of $625,000,000.00. Throughout his 25 year career in the real estate industry, Mr. Burns has been involved primarily with the acquisition and disposition of real estate. To date, Mr. Burns’ transactional volume exceeds $3.5 billion. During one six year period alone, Mr. Burns managed a team that provided valuation, marketing, negotiation and closing of over 800 transactions.

Mr. Burns graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton.
